Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially parting ways

After almost 7 years of marriage, reality TV superstar Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West, on Friday in Los Angeles, according to court sources. And they added that she is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their four children, North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm.
While the couple wanted a really calm split, “trying to keep it low-key” according to the sources that broke the news almost a month ago, Kim hired high-profile divorce attorney Laura Wasser, who previously worked with other celebrities.
TMZ sources say Kanye is fine with the custody arrangement, and there is a prenup in place that "neither party is contesting”.
An insider also told E! News “It's gotten to the point where they haven't spent time together as a married couple in months. They've seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately.”
