Lady Gaga has collaborated with Ariana Grande in a new music video called “Rain On Me”, which was released on Lady Gaga’s official YouTube channel. The video clip has reached more than 47 million views, 3 days after its release.
This beautiful collaboration came as a way to strengthen Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s friendship and bring them together in one song that expresses common feelings.
Before the music video’s release, Haus Laboratoire’s founder shared a post on Instagram saying: “One time I felt like I was crying so much it would never stop. Instead of fighting it, I thought bring it on, I can do hard things. Ariana Grande I love you for your strength and friendship. Let’s show them what we’ve got.”
As for the Dangerous Woman, she also shared a capture from the music video and said: “One time ..... I met a woman who knew pain the same way I did... who cried as much as I did, drank as much wine as I did, ate as much pasta as I did and who’s heart was bigger than her whole body. She immediately felt like a sister to me. She then held my hand and invited me into the beautiful world of Chromatica and together, we got to express how beautiful and healing it feels to cry! I hope this makes u all feel as uplifted as it does for us both. I love you Lady Gaga, you stunning superwoman!”
“Rain On Me” is featured in Lady Gaga's new album Chromatica, which includes 16 songs; “Stupid Love” music video was released earlier. The album was set to be released on April 10, but Lady Gaga announced in March that the album would be postponed due to coronavirus outbreak.
