Saudi Women will soon be ruling the courts

The 2030 scene will definitely be a new world for Saudi Arabia women, as the Kingdom has been majorly focused around changes, especially when it comes for women. The progress is very well seen starting with women being able to secure driving licenses and driving in the Kingdom.
In an interview with Al Arabiya, Hind Al Zahid, the undersecretary for women’s empowerment at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, explained how major developments for the representation of women in the Saudi legal system were coming, making it clear that “Saudi women assuming a position of judge is very soon,” she said. “There are initiatives on several levels”.
Under the rule of his Highness Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, big changes really occurred for women in the Kingdom: women aged over 21 are allowed to travel alone, they can attend sport events and the list is yet to be filled, hoping the courts will soon have female judges making history.
However, women are having their moments in the civil sectors: “As for the civil service sectors, the Saudi women’s participation rate has increased from 39 per cent to 41 per cent, and most of them are in the education and health sectors in addition to other sectors.” according to Zahid.
