In this Couture Fall 2021 collection, Maison Rabih Kayrouz transforms “Les Essentiels” through Haute Couture and turns them into “Les Exceptionnels”. “I wanted to take clothing from my essential wardrobe and transform it into something exceptional,” says the Lebanese designer. The fine wool jacket becomes a tuxedo with an open back. A double gabardine trench coat is perfected with embroideries, or “embroidered with memories” he said. The cashmere coat is dramatized coming alive with velvet bangs. “Clothes, objects, all are intertwined, treasured and passed on” Kayrouz explained.
